Celia Grace Dollins Memorial Fund

A Memorial Donation of $50,000.00, in memory of Celia Grace Dollins, was received by Springdale Animal Services from her parents, Stephen and Cara Dollins. This donation was received on December 17, 2011; the anniversary of what would have been Celia’s 15th birthday, as she was killed in a traffic accident on August 16, 2011.
Upon discussing the needs of the shelter, Cara and Stephen decided this generous contribution will be used to remodel and make improvements to the Cat/Puppy Room, enriching the living conditions and improving the general health and mental well-being of the cats and puppies at Springdale Animal Services facility. Should funds remain upon completion of this project, the remainder will help fund the construction of a partial roof over the outdoor exercise kennels.
Springdale Animal Services would like to thank the Dollins Family for allowing us to share in honoring Celia’s memory on her birthday. We look forward to their further involvement and input in the development of this exciting project. Thank you for this generous contribution to the City ofSpringdale’s Animal Services and the animals we shelter.
