The Springdale Building Inspection Department charges a Plan review Fee. The fee is based on the recommended fee schedule of Chapter 22 of the City of Springdale Code of Ordinances.

The fee shall be equal to one-half of the building permit fee. This plan review fee is in addition to the permit fee.

The plan review fee shall be paid at the time of issuance of the building permit. To arrive at your permit fee and review fee we will be using a standard square foot evaluation based on Occupancy Group of your proposed building and type of construction. If you are remodeling and have dollar figure we can consider that for permit fee calculation.

Example: 5000 SF Business office Type V-B, unprotected construction. Using the valuation Data (International Code Council), find group (Business) in the left hand column and follow that across to Type of Construction V-B to find that the minimum cost per Esq. for a Business Occupancy and Construction type VB is $104.41 per Sq.ft.
