City Council

The City of Springdale is a city of the first class and is organized as a Mayor/Council form of government. This form closely parallels federal, state, and county government with an elected legislature and a separately elected chief executive.

The City Council is the City's legislative body and consists of eight (8) council members serving four (4) year terms. The Council sets policy, determines programs, services and their priorities, and approves the City budget. The elected Mayor is designated as the head of the City government and is responsible for implementing policy formulated by the Council and managing City operations.

City Council meetings are the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, at 6:00 p.m. and will be held in the City Council Chambers, located on the first floor of the City Administration Building, 201 Spring Street. Click here to view an agenda.
