SFD Recruiting Paramedics/Firefighters

Springdale Fire Department is recruiting highly trained and motivated people with exceptional customer service skills who are interested in becoming Firefighter/Paramedics or Firefighter/EMT's with one of Arkansas's most progressive Fire/Rescue/EMS departments.
The new age range for eligibility is 21-35 years of age.

Pay range for Firefighter/Paramedics is currently $37,025 to $55,538.

Pay range for Firefighter/EMT's is currently $30,090 to $43,820.

Our members receive holiday pay and FLSA overtime in addition to the above base pay.

We offer excellent benefits, including pension under Arkansas LOPFI, health insurance under Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and a variety of other benefits under the city cafeteria plan.

The next Entry Level Examination will be on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 9 am and will be held at Fire Station 1 at 417 Holcomb Street in the Training Room.  Applications for this examination must be received no later than 5 pm on Friday January 27, 2012.
