| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Springdale Animal Shelter, located at 321 Randall Wobble Ln, will be hosting monthly low-cost microchip clinics on:
Saturday, June 11th, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Saturday, July 16th, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Cats, kittens, and puppies must be in carriers, dogs on leashes. No sick, injured, vicious, or animals in season, please. While no appointment is necessary, you must be prepared to wait in line and safely restrain your pet(s) amidst other animals. If your pet does not like other animals, is sick, injured, or in season, or your health prohibits waiting outside in line, please contact your veterinarian or another source for microchipping.
We will be offering $20 microchipping of dogs and cats 6 weeks or older. This one time fee includes lifetime registration at the shelter and the first year’s registration with the national database.
Special thanks to Dr. Stropes and Dr. Hantz from Crossover Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Wendell from Southwest Pet Hospital, and Dr. Hokett from Best Friends Animal Hospital for donating their time to help host these and future clinics at the shelter. Monthly clinic dates will be posted as scheduled. Please call Springdale Animal Services at (479)750-8163 for details.
In accordance with the newly revised city ordinances, Effective May 13th, 2010, all dogs and cats 6 month or older who reside within the City of Springdale are required to be microchipped and registered with Springdale Animal Services. Annual City licensing of dogs and cats has been discontinued. |
