Micro-Chip Clinic
 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 

Springdale Animal Shelter, located at 321 Randall Wobbe Ln, will be hosting low-cost microchip clinics:

Saturday, May 1st, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Wednesday, May 5th, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

No appointment is necessary.  Cats, puppies and kittens must be in carriers, dogs on leashes.

We will be offering $20 microchipping of dogs and cats 6 weeks or older. This one time fee includes lifetime registration at the shelter and the first year’s registration with the national database.

Special thanks to Dr. Stropes from Crossover Veterinary Clinic, and Dr. Wendell from Best Friends Animal Hospital for donating their time to help host this and future clinics at the shelter.  Future dates, with weekday and weekend hours will be posted at www.springdalear.gov

In accordance with the newly revised city ordinances, Effective May 13th, 2010, all dogs and cats 6 month or older who reside within the City of Springdale are required to be microchipped and registered with Springdale Animal Services.  Annual City licensing of dogs and cats has been discontinued.
