Jailer

The Springdale City Jail is a twenty-four hour-a-day facility operating under guidelines set by Arkansas Jail Standards. The Jail has a capacity of 24 inmates and it employs six civilian jailers.  The jailers provide all aspects of care and operation at the jail. Civilian jailers receive certification through Arkansas Jail Standards and operate under guidelines set by the State of Arkansas.

Records Clerk

The Records Division of the Springdale Police Department is a civilian support unit, which provides general record maintenance and data entry for the department. The Records Division employs 6 civilian clerks, which are responsible for processing accident investigation reports, data entry of traffic and criminal offenses, and the processing of requests for reports.
