The Public Works Department operates the Household Hazardous Waste Program (HHW) for the City of Springdale. The location for HHW is 269 E. Randall Wobbe Lane and the hours of operation for the program are on Mondays only from 7:30am to 3:30pm. We take paint cans, (but due to recent changes set by Boston Mountain Solid Waste, we are no longer able to accept the paint cans if they do not have a label), household chemicals, batteries and used sharps containers are some examples of what we are allowed to take without charging a fee.

We do have to charge a $5.00 fee for each electronic item that is dropped off with us, the most common of these items are televisions, computers and monitors. 

It is best to call and speak to us before you come to drop off any HHW items due to the continual changes being given to us, you can reach our office at 479-750-8135.
