Public Facilities Board
The Public Facilities Board is tasked with managing and maintaining Arvest Ballpark in Springdale, and has the power to buy, sell, lease, and maintain etc. public or capital improvement facilities in the interest of public good.
The Board can issue bonds to pay for public facilities projects, and its authority includes the ability to acquire, extend, and lease etc. municipal government and court facilities, public parks and transportation facilities, hospitals, and other public health facilities.
There are five board members who serve five-year terms after the initial terms indicated in Ordinance #3815 have been served. Board members are nominated by the Board, appointed by the Mayor, and must be confirmed by City Council.
If you would like to apply to serve on this board, please complete an application. Applicants must be registered to vote in Springdale. If there is not currently an opening on this board, please feel free to submit an application, and you will be notified once a position becomes available.

Authority
This board was created by Ordinance # 3815 and approved by City Council on Jan 10, 06 by abolishing the "City of Springdale Residential Housing Facility Board" and abolishing the "Springdale Industrial Commission."
