Murphy Park is a 40 acre site which features several recreational features, including:
- 1 Play Structure
- 1 Pond (3 Acres)
- Open to fishing with rod or pole only
- Large mouth bass must be released immediately
- Catfish daily limit is three
- Trout daily limit is five
- Bream daily limit is 25
- 1 Sand Volleyball Court
- 1 Separate Swing Set
- 3 Covered Pavilions
- 39 Individual Picnic Tables (Uncovered)
- Outdoor 0.75 Mile Paved Trail (Type 2 Asphalt, 5’ Wide Loop Trail)
- Springdale Aquatics Center
Pavilions
M3 pavilion rentals are $12.50 an hour, with a minimum of two hours. Pavilion features close proximity to Springdale Public Library and playground. (Capacity 80)
Special event pavilion is located close to the Springdale Aquatic Center. This pavilion allows table/chair rentals and catering services. Great for corporate parties, weddings, reunions and more. This pavilion is $50 per hour with a minimum of four hours. This includes set up and tear down time. Cleaning fee/sound fee may be added if decided by Parks and Recreation staff.
If you are interested in renting out this special event pavilion, please fill out the request form below and bring it into the Springdale Recreation Center at 600 Ash Street, Springdale.

Once the request has been approved by Springdale Parks and Recreation staff the special event pavilion policy must be signed and brought in addition to payment to the Springdale Recreation Center 30 days prior to event date.

History
Murphy Park is the city's oldest park
It was named after Robert Murphy, who moved to Springdale in 1901
The Murphys sold their farm to the city in 1955 to build a park and swimming pool
Located on Pleasant Street, Next to Springdale Library, Aquatic Center, and Springdale Recreation Center.
