Wyman was born in Albertville, Alabama and resided there until he was fifteen years old. He and his family then moved to Danville, Arkansas where he completed high school. Wyman participated in sports including football, basketball and track.
He graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 1974 with a B.S. degree in accounting. While he was at tech he lettered in cross-country and was a member of the track team and the bowling team.
Upon graduation, he went to work for the Arkansas Legislative Audit Committee. He was employed by them for five years. During this time he passed the Certified Public Accountant’s exam and was promoted from municipal auditor to municipal audit supervisor.
Wyman worked for the City of West Memphis for the next twenty years. He served as the finance director for sixteen years and as the utility general manager for four years.
He has been employed by the City of Springdale since October of 2000 as the Administration & Financial Services Director. Mr. Morgan was instrumental in the issuance of six Springdale Capital Improvement bond issues that totaled $709,475,000. He is married to Lois and they have two daughters, two granddaughters, one grandson and one great-grandson. His hobbies are fishing and hunting.
