Shiloh Museum of Ozark History is a mid-size regional history museum covering six counties of the Arkansas Ozarks. We have a staff of 15 with a mix of experience and talents. Historic Preservation Manager

Shiloh Museum is home to seven historic buildings, two of them the oldest in Springdale. We are looking for someone who loves historic buildings and understands the special needs and methods of caring for historic properties. While we prefer historic preservation experience or credentials, we welcome applications from experienced facilities managers with an interest in preservation who are eager learners.

The Shiloh Museum Historic Preservation Manager is responsible for the preservation, restoration, and maintenance of all historic buildings on the museum campus; supporting educational programming, exhibit management, and historic preservation advocacy; assisting the Director and staff with maintenance, appearance, repairs, and service contract work on all museum buildings; assisting the Director and staff in carrying out daily museum operations.

Starting salary: $39,011 with generous benefits and PTO.

Program Manager

Shiloh Museum provides programming for K-12 students, adults, as well as a variety of community outreach events on site and in our service area. We are seeking a seasoned educator or program director to oversee our educational and program strategy. The Program Manager will also supervise three to five employees, numerous volunteers, and occasionally interns.

Starting salary: $50,440 with generous benefits and PTO.

Creative Services Manager

Shiloh Museum is home to the largest historic photo collection in the state of Arkansas. Photography and photographic history plays an important role in our collections and services. We are also actively digitizing our historic photo collection. The Creative Services Manager will initiate and manage the museum’s digitization projects. Our priority in this position is darkroom experience and skills. The job also includes photography and videography for the museum’s activities and special events, overseeing the branding and creative presence of the museum, and website development and maintenance (WordPress).

Starting salary: $37,106 with generous benefits and PTO.
