Burn Permits & Burn Bans
In order to burn, you first must obtain a burn permit. If you have an e-mail address, you can apply for a burn permit online, or you can stop by Fire Administration located at:
417 Holcomb St. (2nd Floor) 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
Burn permits expire after dark on 12/31 of the year the permit was obtained in and burning is only allowed if conditions are appropriate.
After you have obtained your permit and prior to burning please call 479-751-4542 to see if conditions allow for burning and/or if their are any burn bans currently in place.
