The Springdale Police Department, in coordination with Flock Safety, is launching a new voluntary program that allows residents to register their home surveillance cameras.
Community involvement is often crucial in solving crimes. Evidence from video surveillance has proven to be a powerful tool in helping law enforcement investigate criminal activity, locate missing persons, and better assess emergency situations.
When residents register their cameras, they are simply providing the Police Department with their contact information and noting the presence of a surveillance camera at their residence. Your camera will not be livestreamed or directly accessed by law enforcement. If a crime were to occur in your area, officers may reach out to request potential video footage that your camera may have captured.
Residents may remove their information from the registry at any time by contacting the Springdale Police Department or Flock Safety.
To register your camera, please visit our website at:

and click on “Register or Integrate Cameras.”
Local businesses can register and integrate their security cameras with the Police Department. This integration provides law enforcement with immediate access to specified cameras in the event of a nearby emergency or critical incident.
Only publicly accessible cameras (such as parking lots, entryways, or storefronts) will be connected. Private interior or residential cameras are not included in this program.
To begin the integration process, businesses can submit a request directly to Flock Safety. A Flock representative will then contact you to guide the setup and address any questions you may have.
Through this partnership, residents, businesses, and law enforcement can collaborate to ensure faster response times, more effective investigations, and a safer Springdale.
Take action today! Register your camera and join us in making Springdale a safer, stronger community. Together, we can protect what matters most.
