A 2023 Bond Project Delivering Expanded Services and State-of-the-Art Amenities for Springdale’s Seniors and Beyond

Springdale, Ark. — The City of Springdale is proud to announce the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the brand-new Springdale Senior Center, a flagship 2023 Bond Project designed to better serve the city’s senior community.

This 40,000-square foot, $14 million facility represents a significant investment in Springdale’s future and will offer seniors expanded opportunities for connection, wellness, and enrichment.

The new Senior Center includes a wide range of amenities such as:

• A commercial-grade kitchen to support nutritious meal programs.

• A modern gym featuring brand-new workout equipment.

• Indoor pickleball courts, one of the fastest-growing sports among seniors.

• An on-site salon and barber shop for convenience and care.

• Expanded gathering spaces to foster community, socialization, and programming.

The Senior Center embodies its guiding motto: ā€œYou rest, you rust. Stay active, live well!ā€ — a call to action for seniors to maintain healthy, active, and fulfilling lives.

Transforming Senior Services in Springdale

This new center is not just a building, but a symbol of our gratitude and commitment to ensuring they continue to feel valued, supported, and celebrated in our community.ā€

Mike Gilbert, Chief Operating Officer of Buffalo Builders, the construction firm behind the project, praised the collaboration that made the center a reality:

ā€œBuffalo Builders is proud to celebrate the delivery of the Springdale Senior Center on time and under budget — a direct result of true teamwork.
