The Waterworks and Sewer Commission (known as the Water and Sewer Commission) was established in 1964 and controls the City's water and sewer system and plants, and it is the governing body that oversees the Springdale Water Utilities. The Commission's authority includes the ability to hire and manage employees and adopt and amend rules and regulations pertaining to the municipal water system and plants.
