J. B. and Johnelle Hunt Family Ozark Highlands Nature Center is looking for volunteers that are willing to come share their passion and knowledge with the public. It brings us great joy to be in Northwest Arkansas spreading information on our outdoor culture. Ozark Regional Transit (ORT): Community Engagement Committee

The ORT Community Engagement Committee functions as a way for the ORT Board of Directors to engage members of the Northwest Arkansas community and for those members of the community to provide insights into the ways that ORT can improve its services and better serve everyone in our quickly developing region. By applying to volunteer for this stakeholder group, you could have the opportunity to provide much-needed insights as to how ORT can best serve the Northwest Arkansas community.

Active Transportation & Trails

The Active Transportation Committee allows people who live and/or work in Springdale to take part in advising the City of Springdale as to the best ways that the trails, sidewalks and roads work together to create a less auto-centric city and improve overall health. You can also sign up to be on the list of volunteers for events such as trail cleanups.

Springdale Senior Center

Springdale Senior Center is a place where more than 300 seniors receive a daily nutritious lunch and the Center operates the Meals on Wheels program. Transportation in Springdale and select locations in Fayetteville for seniors is available through the Center, please call for more information.
