Voting is a critically important civic duty. There are many ways to get involved with the democratic process, especially on the local level.
Note: Springdale is located in both Washington County and Benton County.

You can also pick up a voter registration form at the Springdale City Administration Building, located at 201 Spring St. or you can register to vote in person at any of the locations below:

What happens when I go to vote?
Voters are required to show approved photo ID
Voters are asked to state their Name, Address and Date of Birth
Voters mark their ballot on an electronic marking device
Voters receive a printed ballot
Voters place their ballot in the electronic ballot box

Early Voting
Washington and Benton counties both allow early voting.
Benton County
Early voting shall be available to any qualified elector who applies to the county clerk's designated early voting location during the following times:
Beginning fifteen (15) days before a preferential primary or general election between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Saturday and ending at 5:00 p.m. on the Saturday before the election. However, times may vary by polling location.
For all other elections, early voting shall be available to any qualified elector who applies to the county clerk beginning seven (7) days before the election and ending on the day before the Election Day during regular office hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Washington County
Preferential Primary and General Elections – 15 days prior to election day, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, ending at 5 p.m. on Saturday before the election. However, times may vary by polling location.
All other Elections including Specials, Schools and Runoffs – 7 days prior to Election Day 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, ending at 4:30 on Monday before the election.

Voters in Washington County can vote at any of the polling places in Washington County. Any voter in Benton County can vote at any polling place in Benton County.

Complete and turn in appropriate documents by the applicable deadlines
If you meet the minimum qualification as established by law and you are interested in running for any of the elected offices in the City of Springdale, the first step is to pick up a packet from the Springdale City Clerk's office, located at 201 Spring St.
The packet includes a list of current open positions, filing directions, applicable dates and deadlines, and filing documents. If you have any questions, please call the City Clerk's office at 750-8518.

Political signs must be on private property and they must be removed no later than three days after the election. There are no limitations on size or number of signs. If you have any questions about political signs, please call the Building Department at 750-8154.
