Road Closure:
Monday January 19; there will be a road closure for a MLK march. Starting at the Jones Center going down Emma Av continuing down N Water St and ending in Luther George Park St.. Closure begins at 11:20 and is projected to end at 12:15 Please see map for more information.
CITY OFFICE CLOSURE NOTICE- City offices will be closed Monday, January 19, 2026 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, January 20 at 8:00 a.m.
We have a road closure on Friday 1/9/26 to film a scene for an upcoming movie. The closure will take place on Evelyn St between 2pm-6pm however if they are not ready to being at 2pm we will leave the road open until filming begins, same thing if they finish filming before 6pm. Road closure is attached but no detour as the only buildings on Evelyn St are houses and residents will be let in and guided to their homes.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE:
Tonight Monday December 1; We will be having a road closure downtown for the Christmas parade. The closure will be on Emma Av from Reinert Dr to 71-B as well as on HWY 265 from Huntsville Av to Ford Av. Closure will begin at 5:30 PM and last until 7:00pm or when the parade is finished. Parking on Emma Av will be prohibited after 2:00pm so people can sit on the curb and sidewalk to watch the parade. Please see maps attached for more information.

Public response is requested on proposed concepts for the Northwest Arkansas Rail Corridor Safety Study (NWA Rail Crossing Study) at eight railroad crossings in Springdale and Fayetteville. Residents are encouraged to share their thoughts on the recommendations for the railroad crossings to improve comfort, connectivity, and safety.
Public Open Houses will have Spanish and Marshallese interpreters on-site.
