Certain streets in Downtown Springdale will be close Wednesday May 7 for CRT Races. Emma Ave, Shiloh Square, and Turnbow Park will have a closure starting at 12:00 and ending at 22:00. Emma and its entrances from N Commercial St to S Shiloh St will be closed. Please see attached closure map for specific details.
ROAD CLOSURE TODAY, 05/07: The Natural State Criterium race 2 of 3 will be held today. As a reminder, this means a closure of Emma Avenue beginning at Commercial and ending on Shiloh will start at 12:00PM and end at 10:00PM.

Springdale City Hall and other areas around the city are lit up RED this week, April 27 – May 4, 2025, for the national "Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters". We invite landmarks, fire departments, community organizations, businesses, and families across the country to take part in this powerful tribute leading up to National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend.

LANE CLOSURE NOTICE: Expect delays on I-49, at the West Emma Avenue bridge, from 11pm to 5am the next few nights. Night work under the West Emma Avenue bridge will have and traffic closed down to one lane, north and southbound, until Friday, pending delays. Expect 15 minute delays, periodically, for full traffic shutdowns at times during this time frame.

Sharon Tromburg began her career with the City of Springdale in 2020 as a Planning Technician and she’s had the opportunity to grow through roles such as Planner II, Senior Planner, and Assistant Director. A Springdale native passionate about thoughtful growth and development, she’s committed to the community. On April 1, 2025, Sharon was named Director of Planning and Community Development.

The annual Hogeye Marathon through Springdale will be held this Saturday, April 12th. Downtown road closures on Emma from Shiloh to Commercial will begin at 5am. All other roads will be closed starting at 6am. Each road or lane will be closed until the last runner has passed the area. Volunteers, police officers, and public works employees will be along the route all day to assist with traffic. Please exercise caution this Saturday and expect delays. Please be advised of an upcoming lane closure on Hwy 265 near the Electric Ave intersection. The northbound lane on the right side will be closed between April 9-11 for installation of a new traffic signal.
